ELIGIBILITY: Area artists age 16 or older are invited to submit.
DEADLINE:
ENTRY FEES: $50 for 1 space 40”x 40” 2ND space, if available for $40
(if art work is smaller you can show more framed art in the 2 spaces framed to hang)

1st place ($500.00 total). Works submitted must be for sale
A commission rate of 30% for Art Center Members and 40% for nonmembers
on all sales will be retained by the art center.
Each entry must be labeled and priced on the entry form. Forms are
available on line www.AustnAreaArtCenter.com. Or Austin Art Center,
Lou’s Forever Framing and Austin Public Library. All paintings, sketches
and photographs must be framed and ready to hang with wire support. Three
dimensional arts should be carefully packaged and labeled. All reasonable care will be
taken to ensure the safety and security of your fine art .
A person who earns a livelihood in art , or an art related field or reproduces art for
large monetary gains. This includes commercial artists and designers, those who
teach or supervise art programs, those with a degree in art or anyone who wins
consistently over a period of time.
An advanced artist, but not a professional. Those studying art in a post-secondary
institution should classify them as pro-amateur.
Pursues art as a hobby, Including high school students age 16 and older. This does
not exclude those who may occasionally sell their art.
Displayed art will be chosen by representatives of the Austin Area
Art Center as space and merit permits. Awards will be selected by
a non-member art professional. For more information call
